For those of you who are back for the first time since last year's trip--welcome. There have been a few more posts since our return last summer that will explain recent developments. To finish (and then begin) the story:
I am having a quick lithotripsy (ultrasound blasts to some stubborn kidney stones) on June 25th. A good friend of mine is being baptized on June 22nd and has asked me to be in the water with her (very cool)! I officially start my new position on July 1. All of this to say that our trip is on a much smaller scale this year. We are flying into Seattle tomorrow (Friday, June 13th) and flying home Saturday, June 21st. With such a short trip, we're not leaving a detailed intenerary; you'll just have to be surprised as we visit new places! I will say we will be seeing more mountains, coastlines, and foreign lands. (Okay, Canada's not all that foreign, but what can I say, eh?) Stay tuned...
