Practice

Today, Tim and I will go out and play, oh, I mean practice with the camera. The sky has cleared and it looks to be a perfect day. The ground will be a bit soggy; therefore, I'm not sure where we'll go, but it's a good day to get out!

Tonight I'm going to the senior banquet which means I can practice taking "people shots." I know the beauty of God's creation will be found in the mountains, the rivers and lakes, the unusual rock formations, the oceans--all the "sand and sea" elements. But I would bet that we see some pretty interesting "creations" in the people we meet. I hope I am able to capture some of that in pictures as well as the words we post.

Senior banquet...is that where you got to talk about some of your students? And how did that go?

Senior Banquet is dinner, senior superlatives, slide show, words of wisdom/open mic. for the staff and parents.

Senior awards assembly (at school) is the time and place to say a few words about the students.

Both went well.

By the way, I am the speaker at graduation this year. The seniors vote on it. I am honored. I didn't stand and say anything at the senior banquet because I don't have enough material for graduation AND senior banquet. : )
