Mine in the forefront, was the special of the day, butter chicken poutine. If you've followed the Instant Pot craze or liked Indian food before that, you know that butter chicken is delicious. Put in on top of fries instead of rice and add cheese--viola, butter chicken poutine. Tim got braised beef poutine. (I liked his better.) We went a little poutine crazy. We got it for dessert, too.
No, those are not fries. They are a cross between funnel cakes and donuts. The scoop on the side is ice cream, the scoop on top is...whipped cream that was a little frozen. Chocolate sauce is all over it for gravy. This dish should be brought to the United States of America stat.
The real reason we came...
Overlooking the city of Banff from Sulphur Mountain
We took a gondola up Sulphur Moutain then walked a boardwalk up to this view--really cool.
my date for the next few weeks :)
Skewers of fried chicken
Thai curry mussels
hanger steak and fries
That's all for today!
