If you were a kid of the 80s or a teacher in the early 90s, you probably got the post title. We spent all day in Oregon today. This morning, we left Portland and headed to the coast. We went to Cannon Beach to view one of the icons of the Oregon coast--Haystack Rock
Once again, without being there, you can't tell just how big this giant rock is. It really is shaped like a giant haystack. We drove a ton of Oregon coast, and ended at the Devil's Punchbowl.
We would like to have seen it at high tide, but that was not in the cards this evening. We headed inland and landed in Corvallis, home of the Oregon State Beavers. We'll spend the night here and go to Crater Lake tomorrow.
Too tired to write anymore. :)
