Short Post
Last night, we ate in Phoenix and stayed in Scottsdale. Our plan for today was to take the scenic routes from Scottsdale to Page. And that's what we did. Unfortunately, the skies were overcast so our usual good fortune with the weather did not follow us today. On the way from Scottsdale to Page, we stopped at Red Rocks State Park then took a scenic drive to Sedona. We ate at a place called Freddy's, which reminded me of Steak-n-Shake's glory days. The edges of the burgers were crispy while the burger was still juicy--even the fries were thin and crispy. I didn't take a camera in because we weren't expecting any big deal.
On the way to Page, we were so close to The Grand Canyon (2 1/2 hours, round trip), we had to stop by. :) Again, the weather was not optimal, so pictures are just okay. We ended up in Page, Arizona, for a late dinner. It was late, and the food was average so we didn't take any of food at all today.
