Let's get straight to the point. We are in the thirty percent club! Only thirty percent of all the people who come to visit this area actually get to see the Mt. McKinley. We got on the coach at 9:30 a.m., and as we got closer to The Mountain, we were hopeful. Patrick seemed to think we may get to see Denali today. We rounded several corners, anticipating a sighting. Patrick new exactly when we would be able to see it. We caught glimpses of a combination of clouds and mountains. Then it happened. From the bus we saw It. Patrick had our driver pull over at the perfect place, then the picture taking commenced!
If you've ever viewed any mountains in person, you know that pictures do not do them justice. I will use pictures to help me remember. I will use pictures to help me remember that I am but a speck on this earth. I will use pictures to remind me that I am not in control, but I serve a God who is. One who, today, answered a prayer that was answered to do nothing more than bring pleasure to the one who prayed, but meant that great clouds had to moved from a mountain that makes its own weather. There are many who would like to conquer this mountain. Today, I'm just going to enjoy it. It's midnight. Time for bed. Until tomorrow.

Your picture is absolutely breathtaking. I cannot imagine how majestic it must have been in person. Goosebumps! And you know I'm a beach person.
It is sweltering here. Heat advisories until Saturday evening. Soon you'll be standing on glaciers. Nice timing, I must say.
Just looked at your photos. Stunning. Awe-inspiring. Simply unbelievable. Those crab legs looked so delicious. Tim's curry scallops looked so tender and juicy. And the desserts. Man oh man!!! I'm starving just looking at the pictures.
P.S. The Mountain was pretty, too. Really, it was.
