Nothing More Than a List

At the gentle prompting of my sister, here is a list of places (in approximate order) that we will be visiting:
Kansas City
The Badlands/Black Hills/Mt. Rushmore
Grand Tetons/Jackson Hole/Yellowstone
Craters of the Moon/Twin Falls (Idaho)
Seattle/Mt. Rainier/Mt. Saint Helens
Mt. Hood/Portland
Crater Lake
Redwood National Park
Northern California coast (broad, yes, but it's big)
San Francisco
Yosemite
Lake Tahoe
Sequoia National Park
Death Valley Nation Park
Hoover Dam/Lake Mead
Grand Canyon
Zion National Park
Bryce Canyon National Park
Canyonlands National Park
Arches National Park
Salt Lake City
Flaming Gorge, UT/WY
Steamboat
back to St. Louis

My sister suggested that we post these so that if anyone has been to these places and has a "must see" spot, they could let us know. (I think she also just wants some peace of mind so she knows where we're headed!) Again, the order may change, depending on the logistics. We have not had much of a chance to map it out. We will be taking a better look at the Trip Tik(s) that sis had prepared for us to really get a feel for what makes sense.

My, what a wonderful idea! Now we can see where you might go. What a truly clever thing to do.

Yes, I can't imagine who might have made this last comment. Maybe I should set the post comments so that you must identify yourself!

What ! No Sioux City, Iowa. I could tell you some stories... I know all the Hot Spots in Sioux City. I think you should add that place to your list.

Oooh...missed that one. I just don't think we would have enough time in the entire summer to hit all the unbelievable places in Sioux City, so we just decided to save that for another summer!

I think this is it! I even called the restaurant, described the setting of the building, the gift shop, and the Indian fry bread taco! The restaurant is located 2 miles north of Interior, S.D., and is on loop road 240 which goes through the Badlands. The info above is cut and pasted from Frommers and a S.D. tourism site.

Enjoy the day!
